SANS TITRE – AVEC VENT
Sculpture poétique, ludique, messagère de mémoire et agie par le souffle du vent.
Nous avons choisi d’oeuvrer à partir de l’axe central d’un ancien moulin. De sa position verticale initiale relative à sa fonction, cette structure lourde et pourtant mobile est maintenant couchée à flan de colline.
Nous nous sommes référées au phénomène de “réitération” présent en botanique, afin de faire revivre l’idée de mouvement du moulin par la création de nouveaux éléments éoliens.
Cette sculpture se compose de deux pièces principales. Le vestige du moulin devenu socle permet l’élévation de créations mobiles. Il est associé à une structure de tubes métalliques verticaux prolongée par des bambous, symbolique de la réitération.
A poetic, playful sculpture, a messenger of memory, moved by the wind.
We chose to work from the central axis of an old mill. From its original vertical position, this heavy yet mobile structure now lies on the hillside.
We referred to the phenomenon of “reiteration” present in botany, to revive the idea of the mill’s movement through the creation of new aeolian elements.
The sculpture consists of two main parts. The remnant of the windmill has become a base from which to raise mobile creations. It is associated with a structure of vertical metal tubes extended by bamboo, symbolic of reiteration.
